Headteacher checks on readiness of students
It has been an honour to support Old Kampala Senior Secondary School to connect with a partner school, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan (PSBB) Senior Secondary School in Chennai, INDIA in an Intellectual Information exchange via Video Conferencing.
The video-conference hosted on Google Hangouts and dubbed; A Panel discussion on “Social Media as a tool to connect educators and learners across the globe” lasted one hour today 9th February 2016.
It was also attended by the Principals of both schools who opened the sessions before the student panelists discussed the theme.
Students who attended were later engaged in an offline face-to-face discussion of lessons learned and future plans.

They pointed out that the conference not enabled them to witness first hand what they study in class particularly in relation to social media tools and teleconferencing.
The Old Kampala Senior secondary school is planning to conduct future videoconferences with other Ugandan schools and interested partners from around the world
